It’s been about a year since my last post! Anyway, I have recently uploaded all the pending pictures at long last. I’ll try to post as much as I can instead of doing one giant batch.

A lot has happened of course since our California trip. Gabby had her first trick or treating, Karl (aka Hnquarl aka the Rico to my Bamboo) had a business trip in Virginia and stayed with us for a while, my brother got married, my sister’s son Zozo and my brother’s daughter Ririn had their 1st birthdays, and we went to Hershey Park in Pennsylvania, where Gabby lost one of her front teeth (pics to come). Obama got elected president, Swine Flu scares, Weng’s Facebooking now, oh and yeah, we’re under contract for our first house! We’re still weeks away from settlement and we’re already excited to move. Pics of the house will come soon as well. But for now, here’s what Gabby looked like in the past Halloween (minutes before she puked all over her outfit):

Last week we were in California to visit some friends and family. We spent a few days in San Diego and a few in Los Angeles. We got to go to great places like Anaheim Disneyland and California Adventure, Rodeo Drive, The Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hooters (for the food), and Universal Studios. Pictures are now up.

Christmas Pictures!.

After a few months, we’ve finally updated the photo gallery with a few pictures. Weng and Gabby’s first Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years here in the states. No pictures from the New Year though since we just stayed home.

Gabby’s growing so fast. She’s been recently moved to the toddler area at her day care and will start her swimming lessons this Saturday. We’re glad that she has been gaining her weight back. She’s been sick on and off these past months.

Speaking of growing, Gabby became Ate Gabby in just 3 months. My sister Christina is a new mom with her baby boy Zozo, and just this weekend, My brother Jim is a new dad with his baby girl Ririn. Congrats!

New pics are up, mainly of our DC and Baltimore National Aquarium trips.  Plus pics of the apartment before everything finally got together.

We went on a tour of Washington DC last saturday on a double decker bus with the top off.  It was rather interesting riding around DC up high on a bus.  This was actually my first time to sight see DC, considering that I’ve lived around here for over 5 years now.  Pictures will be up soon.

That is all, as you were.

I have just received a notice from the National Visa Center that they have received my approved K3 visa petition for Weng.  Within a week, they will be forwarding this to the US Embassy in Manila, and within a week after that, Weng should receive a packet of instructions on how to apply for the visa.  It seems that it might not be long before we can all be together here in the US before Christmas.  If this happens, we can celebrate Gabby’s first birthday together as well, although it might be rather sad considering that Weng’s family is still in the Philippines.

Anyway, new Gabby pics are up.  I’ve only been gone for a few days and she looked like she grew so fast.  I miss waking up to give her milk.  :(

The pictures we took while I was vacationing in the Philippines in the 2006 Christmas season are up.  Pictures are mainly of our first baby, Gabrielle.  I have some video clips as well but I’m working on a new page to showcase them, instead of using Coppermine’s video support.
